Bishop Vaughna M. Moore is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. He is the son of the late Julia Moore and Joseph Moore. He is the youngest of 6 children. He was raised by his grandmother, Neil Tann, who encouraged him to seek God. He began his Christian journey under the leadership of Pastor Andrew A. Williams of the House of God Church, Keith Dominion, in Wilmington, Delaware.
At the young age of 9 years old, he was saved. He received the Holy Ghost under the watchful eye of his Pastor and then state Bishop, R.W. Fletcher of the House of God Church, Keith Dominion in Philadelphia, PA around the age of 13. During his members at HOGC, Keith Domion, he avidly attended Sunday School where he learned to love the Word. Besides the teachings of Christ, the Apostle Paul teachings resonated in his spirit. He loved that Paul preached the death, resurrection and lorship of Christ with the proclamation of faith in Jesus Christ. He began to feel a call into the ministry upon his life. One of Bishop Moore's favorite Scriptures is Romans 8:14, "For as many are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
aBishop Moore became a prodigal son when he lost his grandmother in 1996. He was confused as to why God would take his grandmother from him on a Sunday morning. He could not understand why and felt God would not answer his questions. He left the church, but never God's presence. Then one day, he met Chief Apostle Patricia C. Williams, and she loved on him and saw his hurt and pain. She understood the pain of losing a loved one. She spoke into his life and from that moment he has been running for Jesus.
Under the Leadership of Chief Apostle Patricia C. Williams, Vaughna became the Elder of Education and taught Sunday School. He gave his initial sermon at Glorious Full Gospel Tabernacle Center and was licensed a minister (Elder-Elect) under Chief Apostle Williams. Chief Apostle loves Vaughna and could be heard saying, "Call the Elder" because she knew he would be on his way.
The Lord then moved Bishop to sit under the teaching of Apostle Anthony Cornish. He served as his Armorbearer and was given the title Servant-Elder. There, he was licensed an Elder. As instructed in James 5:14-16, "Is any sick among you? Call for the elders are the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord...The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much." So elder would visit the sick, shut in, broken spirited, and bereaved, praying and seeking God on behalf of His people.
Vaughna relocated to Atlanta for years. The Lord led him to Chief Apostle Andre Harris. After years of running from the mandate on his life, he submitted under Breakthrough Reformation of Churches, Inc. He was consecrated to the Office of District Overseer, and later was Consecrated with Apostolic Succession to the Office of Bishop and sat in the office of First Assistant Prelate.
