Chief Apostle Andre L. Harris, Ph.D. is a native of Wilmington, Delaware. He accepted Christ around the tender age of twelve years old. He received the Holy Ghost and the gift of speaking in tongues at the age of seventeen. He is a humble, educated, and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the will of God. He has earned six degrees and recently completed his Ph.D. in which he plans to open an education facility to enhance and empower the minds of our youth.
This Man of God has been ministering for over 20 years on the Gospel field for Jesus Christ. He has served at Mother AUFCMP Church, St. Thomas AUMP Church, Mt. Zion AUMP Church, Faith Praise Temple of Joy, Let Go & Let God Ministries, and Eternal Life Church in Wilmington, DE. In 2011, he became the Founder and Senior Lead Pastor of Changing Partners Temple of Joy Ministries. In 2012, he became the Presiding Prelate of Breakthrough Ministries International Conference. After battling heart disease, Chief Apostle sat himself down to heal. In February 2024, he was reaffirmed to the office of Chief Apostle and Primate. Today, he serves as Founder and Lead Pastor of Greater Experience Worship Center and continues to lead what is now Breakthrough Reformation of Churches, Inc.
Apostle's desire as a church is to be within the community proclaiming the Word of Christ in ACTION and providing good deeds whenever possible to the community. Over the years, he spearheaded community-wide job fairs to assist the local community in regaining employment, fed and clothed the homeless and worked with youth and political leaders across the nation. Apostle Harris loves God, God's people and His Word. He enjoys family time, traveling, cooking, relaxing, reading and learning whatever he can to share with others. He enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and flat-footed simplicity at every opportunity that avails without compromise.
Apostle states and proves he loves the young, the elderly and unchurch people groups. The young because they have so much to gain. The elderly because they have so much to share. The unchurch because their eternal destiny is at hand. When asked about his ministry efforts, he often quotes his favorite Scripture: “Do you think I speak this strongly in order to manipulate crowds? Or court favor with God? Or get popular applause? If my goal was popularity, I wouldn’t bother being Christ’s slave. Know this—I am most emphatic here, friends—this great Message I delivered to you is not mere human optimism. I didn’t receive it through the traditions, and I wasn’t taught it in some school. I got it straight from God, received the Message directly from Jesus Christ.” (Galatians 1:10-12 MSG)
